With 37 million people affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD), National Kidney Month is getting more attention than ever

Share this story:

This March at Cricket Health, we’re joining communities across the country in an effort to raise awareness for chronic kidney disease (CKD) and promote kidney health. We want people to understand the critical role we play in supporting people with guidance and support to deliver the best possible kidney care.

We’re an online care program that partners with healthcare plans to help you keep your kidneys healthy, with access to resources and support between visits to your doctor. We connect you to the country’s top kidney care professionals, as well as a community of patients and caregivers who understand what you’re going through. Your care team includes an experienced nurse, dietitian, pharmacist and social worker who will collaborate with your doctor to create a personalized care plan just for you. You’ll also be connected to a patient mentor who can share their perspective on living a successful life with kidney disease.

CKD is often overlooked until serious symptoms appear. Join us in spreading the word with anyone you know who may be at risk. The more awareness people have of risk factors like diabetes, family history, heart disease and high blood pressure, the earlier they can start making lifestyle changes that will keep their kidneys healthier longer.
