Prior to joining Cricket Health, Dr. Trzebinska was a clinical professor of medicine at University of California, San Diego. She created a multidisciplinary CKD clinic, which was the first CKD program in the country to receive Disease-Specific Certification from the Joint Commission (TJC). TJC is the nations’ oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Dr. Trzebinska has been nominated San Diego Top doctor on several occasions. She joined Cricket Health with the goal to improve care of patients with CKD on a national level.

Her experience includes the Hospital Auxilio Mutuo in Puerto Rico where she served as the RD for the outpatient clinic and inpatient care. In addition, Mayra worked in multiple dialysis units across Puerto Rico, Virginia and Texas.
