She has served as a nephrology social worker for a dialysis center, assisting patients in navigating the life challenges that come with starting dialysis.

In her most recent role prior to Cricket, she was the Dialysis Care Coordination Program Manager for 3 ESCO markets.

    Mayra is a Registered Dietitian specializing in CKD and Dialysis, with 8+ years of experience. She’s fully bilingual, as she was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed a Dietetics Internship and Master’s Degree in Health Science in Nutrition at The University of Puerto Rico (UPR). Her experience includes the Hospital Auxilio Mutuo in Puerto Rico where she served as the RD for the outpatient clinic and inpatient care. In addition, Mayra worked in multiple dialysis units across Puerto Rico, Virginia and Texas.

Prior to joining Cricket Health, Dr. Trzebinska was a clinical Professor of Medicine at University of California, San Diego. She created a multidisciplinary CKD clinic – the first in the US to receive Disease-Specific Certification from The Joint Commission (the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care). Dr. Trzebinska has been nominated San Diego Top Doctor on several occasions. She joined Cricket Health to improve care of CKD patients on a national level.
