Cricket Health’s workplace culture centers around strong employee engagement and dedication to the mission of improving lives of people living with kidney disease.

San Francisco, CA – May 10, 2022 – Cricket Health has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list for the second consecutive year. Featured in the May/June 2022 issue, which hits newsstands on May 17, 2022, and on Inc.com, the list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for a second year in a row as one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces because at Cricket Health, we take our work personally, caring deeply about our patients, colleagues, and community,” said Bobby Sepucha, CEO of Cricket Health. “At the center of our mission is the belief that everyone is worthy. That’s why we are working to improve the lives of people with kidney disease, and it is also how we treat our fellow team members.”

Cricket Health is a comprehensive kidney care provider with an evidence-based approach to managing chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Using StageSmart™, Cricket’s machine learning disease identification model, and predictive GFR (pGFR™), Cricket helps health plans and providers identify people with kidney disease, determine disease stage, and assess their risk of disease progression. Cricket then delivers stage-specific, individualized care plans through the MyCricket™ patient support program, including a multidisciplinary care team, peer support, and educational resources accessible in person, by telephone, or online. Cricket works with payers and providers to identify patients who are at risk, acts early to slow progression of the disease, and delivers patient-centered, personalized kidney care through a multidisciplinary care team. For patients who progress to kidney failure, Cricket provides education, options, and supports their care journey.

This award comes at a time of great momentum at Cricket Health, which recently announced its merger with Fresenius Health Partners, the value-based care arm of Fresenius, and InterWell Health, a leading physician organization driving innovation in the kidney care industry. In the last year, Cricket Health has released and studied results from its initial partnerships with commercial and Medicare Advantage health plans, including Cigna, demonstrating key clinical outcomes such as more than 50 percent fewer hospital admissions than the status quo.

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 475 honorees this year. Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.

“Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Yet given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”
